that's one for sure. another i got when i had a rotating spot was: "do you have the launch?" crappy hard house track!
"does it faster later on?"
here's a crazy thing that happened to me one night. i playin' and gettin' into my thing. now the both is right above the bar(stoopid, trust me.) and this guy is gettin' his drink and points @me and laughs. so i'm lookin' giving him the "what's up" look and he flips me off. mf almost caught a beat down. i started yelling @him(in the middle of a mix) and told him to wait 'til i was done. he motions me to come down and i say OKAY MOFO! so i finish my mix put down my phones go out the door and he's gone. long record on, so i look for him, but can't find him. WTF. punkazz binch.
sorry had to let that out.

Once I was playing a gorgeous Aqua Bassino track featuring a stunning saxophone solo. Real Classy.
The half-owner of the club asked me to "stop playing this techno shit".
I told him off (royally) and proceeded to quit. Fvck 'em all!!
I was a steamboat... mad1.gif

Sorry, I gotta jump in here with a story to tell. I invited a coworker who doesn't get out much (male) to the DHP party @Slick's. He had some young girl with him. Anyway, he likes hip hop and wanted to know when they were going to play some. I told him there wouldn't be any played. He said he was going to ask the DJ to play some and asked me if I thought that the DJ would play some if he gave him a few bucks. A bribe no less! I told him to ask if he was feeling froggy. Sadar sat next to him and he asked Sadar if he was going to play some hip hop. If I could have only taken a picture of Sadar's face! I was a few feet away cracking up.

Once I was playing the good remix to "one more chance" by Notorious BIG.
Someone had the gall to come up and ask me to "start playing some hip-hop"???????? graemlins/conf44.gif
Everyone's a scientist
as far as hip hop is concerned, most of the people that ask me for it are rude.
I never get asked to play it, they demand me to play it,
thats when i get ugly.
don't talk to me like a dog I don't care if you're drunk or not.
I'll just get a bouncer to throw you out.
gene on mic:SECURITY TO THE DJ BOOTH PLEASE!!!!!!!

Dennis Rodman asked me to play reggae one day at DiSalvio's in Montreal. I was playing a Tommy Musto track at the time. I said NO, and he walked away.

Someone came up to me a while ago and said 'can you play some classic 1989 style house?" which would have been reasonable enough if I hadn't been playing Bang The Party 'Bang Bang You're Mine' at the time!
A girl came into the booth completely off her head and asked if we had a mic because "I just want to tell my boyfriend how much I love him"...

Hot girl comes in booth -
"It's my friend Michelle's birthday and I wanted to see if you could play some Ja Rule for her and say happy birthday to her on the mic okay?"
And then runs back on the floor assuming I will do whatever she wants and be psyched about her attention. She proceeds to grind with some lame ass wanabee gangster dude. No Ja Rule or mic go on. Girl comes back in booth pissed off and tells me the dude is going to kick my ass if I don't play it and that the music sucks (even though the floor is packed and people are screaming). I tell her that if I put Ja Rule on the floor will clear. She bitches some more and I tell her to get the **** out. The dude she was with does nothing and they leave soon after.
I get girls like this often. They think they own the places and are blind to everyone else in the club. If they can't lip sync it they won't dance.

respect the female.
