on part a at about the 12:50 mark, there's this mid-80ish club record playing just for a bit that has a d-train influence to it....i got to know by whom this record is....COLD!

Label I think is Beckett... I believe Beckett was the second issue and that the original was on LA based Saturn records... I see this all the time but the copies are always scratched to hell... apparently dj's out here liked to beat this record up??

hey Klas! i never heard about that "Passionate Madness" record...is Stanson a LA-based label? it sounds like something that would pique my curiousity:)

nothing much to report on the used front except i found for a dollar that "house sound of chicago vol 2" compilation along with the 1987 JM Silk album and Yvonne Brown's "Goin Down" from 1982 (Montage Records) which is pretty good...these past couple of months have been dry especially on the 80s side :(

i'll get out a couple of my recent cds out your way soon....speak soon!

Kelvy, I'll keep an eye out, I see the Beckett release every now and again , great record.

thanks Martin for looking out for that Captain Rapp song....i'm keeping my eye out on it and it doesn't have to be on vinyl...
