It is 99% certain that we shall have a Phazon (maintained by Steve Dash) in the main room.
A Funktion One System (Also Dash maintained) in the 2nd room and as yet no decision on the what will be in the VIP room.

How do people feel about Phazons these days? I thought there was a move to go back to analog systems...

I like the Crobar system... It's loud but you can still hold a convo right in front of one of their speaker stacks.

The only other Phazon systems I've heard.. I haven't been impressed with.

I read in an artice awhile back, I believe it was in DJ Times, about Shelter's recently purchased(at that time) system and how they were still getting used to it and learning about it. They talked about how the system was "too clean" for their tastes. That they had to do some tweaking and reprogramming to "dirty up" the sound a bit.

I'm a huge fan of analog. The sound cannot be beat. Perhaps Mr. Mancuso would like to share his thoughts on high tech systems such as Phazon.

as far as i understand, the shelter phazon system is not actively maintained by phazon...they merely bought the system from twilo, but once it was installed, it was no longer maintained by phazon. correct me if i'm wrong on this, just repeating what i've been told by several sound people.
