I see this behavior around my way every day.
I once saw a 10-year old lift himself up on to the counter just to take a swing at the 55-year old deli guy. I was like "wow. that kid's parents should be arrested...".

word, i see this behavior around my way too, liquor stores on every corner, owned by "people" that don't even live in the city, preying on their "customers" while dispensing poison, at the end of the day taking their profits to the suburbs, sending their kids to colleges to struggle for assimilation
