you are there to sleep, before hitting the road home.
you have just a few hours before you have to check out.

theres one full size bed, a chair, and no cots available ... what do you do?

i think - you both jump on the bed and pass out - no question, no problem

i've been informed this would not be the answer i got if i asked this question

i bet $50 it would be .. (not really)

Hold on there. Don't underestimate the insecurity of the average straight dude.

I don't give a shit, but plenty of the guys I know would have my ass sleeping on the floor (if they were paying for the room). A full size bed is tiny, and there is little margin for error in the seemingly vast expanses of the male ego.

It's no big deal to straight guys. We would rather sleep next to each other than freeze or get a bad back.

I've been on tons of road trips with 6-10 or so guys and we usually just get 1 or two rooms and fight for the beds. Spend our $$ going out. Usually, the single guys of the group are extra motivated to meet a woman and go to her place.

The only thing that once got me off the bed in a hotel in Buffalo was that my friend Jon pissed the bed after waaay too much cheap beer.

First and foremost, I don't mind sleeping on the floor, and don't like sharing a tiny ass bed with anyone. I will usually offer the bed, grab a blanket and hit the floor, no questions asked. It ain't about sex, its about my big ass needing some space to stretch out and sleep comfortably.

Now.... that being said, my default is to offer the bed to someone else and hit the carpet so for me to change that, there's gotta be a reason.

If its a girl and a guy, and you're both single, then it just depends on the relationship. If you're trying to get with her/vice versa, then obviously yes. If you're not, then no.

Now, say the girl has a man, then regardless, you sleep on the floor out of general respect for him, her and their relationship.

but they both looked plagued by the thought

when one returned w/food, the one id been sitting there with gripped my arm like he was gonna take it off as i tried to jump off the bed

so i launched into this whole 'wait up! you're saying you both cant sleep on this bed, i'm gonna be right here'. there was silence. i continued 'if there was just you two, what would you say'
