Hearing some of this right now and i know for sure the 2nd track is not italo but it is a track by metro area called "caught up" on the metro area album. Let ya know if i know anymore

i actually have acquired Fun Fun (Happy Station) and Doctor's Cat in the last couple of weeks;.I'm not familiar enough with them yet, apparently, to have recognised them in the mix..

Yesterday I found a great Italo record too : Flirts : Passion & Calling all boys ..

If this is the italo mix he's just done for Music Man's new subsidiary, Radius, then I have both the promo and the full tracklisting. Personally, I didn't think it was that great.

thanks for replying but it's just that I know how to download any file which is played in real audio even if they don't want you, but when it is played through windows media player I don't.

i do not really care so much about whether it's really made by Italians or not..If it sounds like most of the stuff that originated in Italy, i'm willing to call it Italo disco..In the end, it's just a label and it's not that important ( i have to write this, because Lil Ray is watching my back .. ;) ...

Concerning 'Calling All Boys' by the Flirts, do you consider that Hi-Nrg ? It ain't that 'energetic' a song ? Happy Station neither actually, imho..

Shock Taktix is usually considered an italo-disco record and it was made in the UK.

italo and italo disco are common terms referring to alot of the early 80's disco that came from italy and europe and also alot of the stuff that italo producers did with american disco/r and b artists like "change" etc etc
