Everybody knows the "greed is good" part. but my favorite scene is when Hal Holbrook professes:

"Man looks into an abyss. There's nothing staring back at him. At that moment, Man finds his character, and that's what keeps him out of the abyss". Classic!

The Gekko "Greed Is Good" speech inspired a new generation to go Business school.Oliver Stone was not glorifying this maligned subculture but was cautioning about it's seamy underside.A superb movie.

Remember the way the let go "Tom Willis of the Jeffersons" (I forget his real name)? I believe he was just too old. Or did he get caught up in the scandal?
