But what are your best memories????
I'd especially like to hear the experiences of Chip E, David Mancuso, AK, Gman, etc....
I was just listening to Nu Yorican Soul's "Nervous Track" (Ballsy mix) and I am reminded of a early 90's loft parties here in Chicago.
Lego had just gotten off and he beat "Vineger Stroke" off of Black Cock.
Then the music fades.
They announce Farley "Jack Master Funk" and he starts his set with a Martin Luther King Speech. Then it sounds like it starts skipping and the crowd is like, "Ha-Ha! Farley ****ed up!" but it's totally intenstional!!!
All of a sudden, the strings from the Nervous track come in and the drums kick in and everyone goes ****IN' WILD!!!!!!!
