A little info on the Dallas scene in which I participate. First I love it no matter what, but it is lacking to say the least. There are maybe 4 or 5 clubs that play good house on a somewhat regular basis. One of those is allowed to be open until 4 at the latest. All other clubs must shut down at 2 am. Hardly anyone dances in the clubs, and everyone is SO caught up in "genre wars" that they cant get anywhere. graemlins/stupid.gif

Bottom line, Dallas needs some help.

Tell me about it....Nothing on Deep Elam, Lower Greenville or West End. the only club that may come close is club Metro in which I never venture...

Bottom line, Dallas needs some help. We all feel your pain, the scene needs some help IMO. I totally agree with you on the Genre War bit.

Peace

I hear that outside of New York and Vegas and New Orleans, the parties are much over at about 2am. I went to San Francisco, and most of the parties ended about 2am. I went to Vegas, and the place never slept. I always went to bed about 9am in the morning. And New Orleans is always jumpin'.

And I'm from New York, so I know the party scene here. So much of the country may not "have it good". Peace.

Woody, do you have a residency? I was there in February. I may come back in May! Where are the places to go?

I'm curious. Did they perform this fire inspection after the nightclub tragedies in Chicago and Rhode Island?
