I'm green with envy!! I've read, and seen on TV, that Ibiza is gorgeous, a party people's paradise, full of beautiful women and a mecca for great House music!!! Enjoy yourself and be safe! ;)

-HML Ibiza is nice, hot women everywhere, but it DEFENATELY ISNT A MECCA FOR GREAT HOUSE MUSIC. Its pretty much everything BUT a mecca for great house music. Its ruled by the suppa-star british djs with the occasional U.S djs that are borring nowadays anyways (Roger S, Todd Terry, and the likes). That being said, its still fun in some ways.Still, i wouldnt stay there for more than a week.
have fun, rent a scooter. ;)

Although David plays for the newbee crowd in ibiza, hence, its REALLY borring (maybe it wont be this time). Cant say nothing about Louie and Frankie though... graemlins/respekt.gif
have fun.

-HML graemlins/rofl.gif as public enemy said "don't believe the hype"

You'll find good looking women on the other spanish islands and they probably won't be drug hoes looking to meet Paul Oakenfold, saying that much of europe is the same with the super club drug slagism, certainly UK anyway and anywhere they choose to holiday.

Avoid San Antonio at all costs.

Try and find some of the private Spanish and Italian parties in the mountains...they are supposed to be the best things happening at the moment over there.

The trendy, techy, harder stuff probably does go over better than the deep, soulful vibes. On the other hand, I have heard excellent live mix compilations, of top choice House cuts, from parties in Ibiza. I obviously have not been there so, I defer to your first hand knowledge... smile.gif

Peace,

Peace,
HML </font>[/QUOTE]of course HML. Business is business, and DUYYAM! do they ever make good business there. I ve seen door prices as much as 100Euros and the crowd gladly forks it over....Of course, the owners have to go with what appeals to the general masses (Prog house :D ).
I m not much of a Deep-NYC head myself (I like to Jack or go Deep but the chicago way biggrinangel.gif ) but one things for sure, i wouldnt go to Ibiza to "Go Deep" ;)
That being said, there ARE fun parties there. (Tuesday Morning Circo Loco at DC10 being one, Café mumbo sunset sessions everyday, etc etc) People are SOO much into it that you finally give in and start enjoying your stay. I remember getting into a set by Danny Howells at the Def Mix Party @ Pacha last year...Its defenately not my usual cup of tea but given the settings/environment and the nice technique/programming of the guy I enjoyed my first "Prog" set graemlins/grinyes.gif

The club owners "must" get 4 months in the Sun and look after their click by giving them months in the sun, usually these DJ's are chosen by freindship rather than DJ's worth their salt.

Every club promoter in U.K ran to Ibiza in the early mid nineties, usually shit musically inept ones sponsored by Mixmag. Mixmag make a big deal about this Island every year because they must have vested interest in the place.

The island was so popular to start with as people went to hear the Spanish DJ's who played something different.
Alfredo, or cafe loungey stuff from Jose Padilla at Cafe Del Mar.

Now you have Cafe Mambo and your more likeley to hear middle class kids from the suburbs playing any record un-imaginativley with "SUN" in the title rather than any quality.

That's the bars, And I am sure the clubs are similiar, too many shit DJ's running away from UK for my liking, I can get that shit locally with or without the London fashionista side of it all, Beckham hairstyles and Sarrongs and much talk about how much money Joshua earnt in his last quarter at Sachi and Sketchy.

Styling your pubic hair is a lot harder than most people think," sex worker Ayuchi tells Shukan Jitsuwa. "Actually, I've got a bit of a Toda look myself, at the moment. My boyfriend told me that I should dye my pubic hair bright red, but there's no way I'm going to do that. I want my hair to hurry up and grow back so I can return to the Beckham look."

Another month, another hairstyle for Becks..

From floppy, to skinhead to mohican, back to floppy - and now corn rows.

Hairdressers wait for Beckham copycats

Imitators may suffer for their style
England football captain David Beckham kept his new look hidden under a dark blue woolly hat when he turned up for training on Monday.
But the twisted ends of the series of small parallel plaits pulled tightly to his head still showed beneath the England team's three lions badge.

The golden braids - known as cornrows - will be seen in their full glory later on Monday, when Beckham models the England squad's off-the-field Giorgio Armani outfits for the first time.

Hairdressers across the country are expecting an influx of young men demanding cornrows.

Beckham is the celebrity most men want to look like according to a survey of 300 by the makers of weight-loss drink Slim Fast.

His skinhead and Mohican styles both prompted a spree of copy-cat cuts from fans.

But the Alice hairband the 28-year-old had been using to control Beckham's formerly flowing locks proved considerably less popular.

Beckham tried to hide his hair

Any imitators may have to suffer for their new style.

Hairdresser Kim Johnson, whose salon specialises in Afro-Caribbean styling, said cornrows "can be a bit painful".

"It has to be quite tight for it to hold," he told BBC News Online.

Manchester hairdresser Catherine Morris said her customers ask for Beckham haircuts soon after he unveils a new look.

"When he had the Mohican all five year-olds wanted one," he said.

Although cornrows might not be quite as popular.
