Say Francois K, Good lookin on joining the board my man, It makes it very easy to connect the dots when it comes to information on the early days in the Dance Music scene in New York, Along with cats like David Mancuso,Bruce Forrest,Hippie Torrales,Nicky Siano,Boyd Jarvis(Who was on the board for a few/Hopefully he will come back on),Cats and Young Ladies will have a full and solid understanding on how the scene was in New York, During the early days of the Dance music scene in the 70's. I truely miss The Prelude label my man, Also, Was there ever a remix for the song, 'In the name of love', By Sharon Redd(One of my alltime Favorites).

Hmmm... 295 gets me a Microtech Gefell small diaphragm condenser mic and a 50s vintage Fairchild tube line mixer....

1610 A.D. -

smile.gif Galileo Proves Copernican System Correct - In 1610 Galileo Galilei published in Sidereus Nuncius the results of his telescopic observations. Galileo showed the Copernican system in which the planets circle the sun was correct. In the same year he discovered the moons of Jupiter and sun-spots.

In 1632 he published another work that clearly proved that Copernican system was correct. This resulted in Galileo's trial by the Roman Inquisition and his recantation.

Welcome to the board, my friend...for anyone that's interested, this is the man I emulated when I learned how to mix. Got about 10% of the way there.

A bit of trivia: I did at least a hundred mixes on an SSL E series board at the classic old Electric Lady Studio, Room C. (In fact, the studio still offers use of the Room C subwoofer I had installed to simulate club audio.)

Electric Lady sold that SSL E series board to FK, who has done more with it than I ever hoped to. :D

FK, dude. You owe me coffee. Mail me.
