View Full Version : WORST TOY EVER INVENTED IS...

My choice for the worst toy ever invented is... That damn HOT WHEELS RACE TRACK. Here was a toy that I played with religiously, until my mother used one of the tracks to beat my ass with one day in front of the whole neighborhood. I never looked at the toy the same again.... http://deephousepage.com/smilies/spank2.gif

Not actually a bad toy, but annoying as %^&!! I never, ever did manage to put the puzzle back in order, so I would peel the stickers and reset them.

magic_juanWho didn't do that? My dad bought me one as a kid and I'd never mess up the order 'cause I knew I couldn't get all the colours back. One day I came home from school and my dad had this silly grin on his face. I went to find my cube and he'd messed up the whole thing. The most I was ever able to do was get two sides ... and I think it was by accident. icon_rofl.gif

Well I guess you all needed a complete set of stairs from top to bottom (i.e. no missing steps)
Slinky wasn't designed to skip missing steps. Sorry you were dissapointed.

My slinky worked fine.

What about that high speed "Cliff Hangers" race set by Tyco that never worked? If the cars made ti to the top...the fell to the ground!
graemlins/bolt.gif then crack / break / bang
Another defect was, if the high point that the cars had to climb was not braced against the wall...that side of the track would eithe fall or fall apart.
AR15firing.gif

That pisses me off on Christmas...it looked very cool on TV but didnt work worth a damn at home. One thing I will say about Hot Wheels - Their products always worked - just like on TV

Who can forget Slime? If that sh*t got in your carpet good luck getting it out. It also made your hands smell for hours. I also remember when Mattel created the "Slime monster" board game with the little people and the big monster (slime dispenser) that you had to avoid.

DAMN...the things that used to keep us entertained.

"Chummy" pushchair for dolls. A friend of mine found one in her loft when she moved into her new apartment.

It looks scary to say the least. You can imagine a possesed child pushing it down a long wood lined corridor. It looks like it's styled on a 1950s cream coloured ambulance.

I So wish I had a picture to show you because words alone are not enough to describe the horror!

Avoid this monstrosity at all costs!

Here's one answer as to what Sea Monkeys are...

"What sea monkeys are is a variety of brine shrimp, and just about anyone who has ever kept fish in an aquarium has come across these little creatures. A common fish food for home aquarium enthusiasts, as well as research labs and commercial aquaculture operations, brine shrimp can be purchased at almost any pet store. They come in a form that looks like brown powder. The little specks are actually cysts containing thousands of eggs. Add water and the eggs hatch, normally within a few hours"

i actually bought some of them from Osco about 6 yrs ago out of curiosity. all they were were a bunch of tiny eel-like creatures that multiplied like hell then ate each other. there were thousands in the bowl on day then a couple of days later there was just one....
