Anyone know of a good martial arts school for kids? Should not only be about self defense tactics but good with showcasing the tradition, culture, values, of the art.
This is for a child not adult.
thanks...

I have been Boxing and Muay thai boxing for years, in what some people regard brutal sports, true these are contact sports, but should you choose only light sparring or touch sparring no problem. I don't know if it is the sam in the US but here in the UK the clubs that I have trained at have been cheaper than the Martial Arts clubs who provide Karate and Ju Jitso etc. The traditional martial arts clubs seemed to be taking money from the children left right and centre for uniforms, equipment and gradings. I found that some of the children displayed a bit of a false sense of cockiness or arrogance compared to the kids who were undertaking Muay Thai training, were as the Children undertaking Muay Thai were well placid yet very capable of taking care of themselves.
I myself am a very placid chilled out individual and I can recommend Muay Thai which is also a very interesting culturally based discipline.
