Not sure if your guests like sushi, but if they do, Costco has a big azz tray of sushi rolls for about $13 bucks. I hear it's good. "Big pot" food like chili seem to go over well at gatherings as well. Oh, and I often make a pasta salad with roasted veggies for a large crowd. You can add shrimp or chicken to that to make it more filling.
Have a great party!

Haven't investigated that fully, but I do know that I have never been sick as a result of eating sushi.
For the record the word sushi simply means vinegared rice. You could have something raw with it or something that's cooked or some vegetables.

Dee-Dee,
throw in some desserts (like pie). Also, how about some spinach dip for one of the appetizers. Also, buy the basic drinks: soda, beer, one jug of vodka and one jug of rum or whiskey. Tell your guest they are more than welcome to bring their own drink/mix.

throw in some desserts (like pie). Also, how about some spinach dip for one of the appetizers. Also, buy the basic drinks: soda, beer, one jug of vodka and one jug of rum or whiskey.
when's the party, so i could buy my airline ticket? biggrinangel.gif If there's any dessert it will be store bought I don't bake. My friends gonna bring this mexican dip, it is good.

I've been #10 all my life IE: 9 times out of 10 - people say more than they can do - i'm #10 out the 9 other guys.
Most people are creatures of habit IE: women tend to not buy just one pair of drawers of a certin style. I am gonna look in both their dressers and when I see a size 8 thong of the same material - I will have something special for them too. graemlins/grinyes.gif

It doesn't matter what the menu is Dee-cats are gonna run through whatever you put out like they ain't ever ate before.
We had a party at our house a while ago and I grabbed a box of Corn Pops from my cabinet as a joke with my brother. I left them on the table with the rest of the food to go corral Rahaan  -and when I came back 15 minutes later, cats were in my front room with bowls, milk and silverware goin' to town on my cereal.
...and you KNOW I wasn't havin' that! I gotta have my POPS!!!! graemlins/cool_shades.gif I swear, no matter how many times you kick people out of a party, they never learn...

Dee Dee,
Is seafood (other than fish) out of the question? What type of fish are you considering? Salmon? Snapper (Red or Blue)? Bass?
