My mother and I was talking the other day, and we got on subject was where she was at when she heard of the death of Marvin Gaye... She loved Marvin Gaye and can tell you exactly the time of day it was. I was thinking in the HOUSE music world, can anyone say where they were at when they first heard the news of Ron Hardy's passing... I was at the Warehouse on Randolph/Halsted... I think K. Alexi was the DJ that night. He stopped the music and announced his death... People broke down and cried. I never met the man, but went to many a party where he moved me... Like the death of JFK and MLK, our parents can tell us where they were at... Who affects you in this way...(OUTSIDE OF FAMILY MEMBERS)
