i had them paisley-pattern shirts in lthe late 80's.. this was when we wore "house" gear and freestyled at the Tunnel and Redzone with the freestyle-loving latinos on the dancefloor. i had that quintessential dance move that Salt and Peppa, Spinderella were busting out in that "expressive yourself" video. alo, we all had them african colored rope-up backpacks. Unique Boutique yo! keepin it gansta. fresh!

Unique: Those were the days when buying a bag of that honey-roasted peanuts on Broadway and 4th was memorable, and hearing En Vogue's "hold oN" from a ghetto-blasting auto system passing by. yes, those were the days.. i still stomp out in my "creepers, "Stomp" shoes and Doc Martins once in a while in the "Die Yuppie Scum" parts of bklyn.

anyway, all i know is that HOel of statusho.com got owned.

Unique brings memories of the DJ in the back, the instore airbrish artist, hanging in front of the store, the kids passin out flyers for Tunnel, redzone, the world, mars etc, Dr martens with the baggie jeans and the flight jacket with the long mushroom hair cut haha
