I wish Fathom was on the board to tell you her opinion about the scene here in Cincy...As a dancer/head...my opinions are changing drastically...Saturday went to hear Fathom and the spot wasn't as crowded as normal, but the crowd was tripped out...I don't know if people come to this place simply because it's an after-hour spot or if they really like house music, but needless to say...they showed her love...they applauded and whistled but most of all THEY DANCED...it was cool, because you can tell she was feeling the love...So as a DJ do you prefer a party with people who love, appreciate and know the music or a crowded venue with people who just want to dance...
With the venue of people who just want to dance, they really don't care what you play as long as you keep them dancing...They aren't there to critique your set and memorize your songs, they just want to dance for the moment usually in a drunkard state of mind, but moving their bodies non the less...
