I did.
Before any idea of why this war happened to exist, I can't stand the idea that soldiers, iraquis, english, americans or whoever can die for such an idiot thing.
Bombs over bagdad, some children will die, their parents will never see them again. Shots upon US, english, iraquis or other soldiers , their children will never see their parents again.
Destroyed families, destroyed cities, destroyed civilizations, psychological scars, famine, environmental problems, shame in history, hate, fear, desesparate generations... That's local aspects of the war.
Once the war will be finished, the world will think peace is achieved, but what for all the people who will have lived war ?
A war is affecting local people, those who where there.
Do you really think that war widows are nationalists and proud of their country ?
Higher than our perception of the interest of this war, let's not forget that we are intellectuals talking about some war events, but we are not living the war itself.
Akila, yes I feel bad and I do care about the persons who are living war right now.
If someone never gave a thought for other people than his country's troops should be ashamed cause a human life is one of the most precious thing on this earth, as we have the ability to "think" and conceptualize this state od consciousness and being.
The one who never faced the loss of a friend or someone of his familly is somehow a lucky one.
Peace and blessing to any living and thinking entity.
"It's a cold cold world" (Jamie Principle) last sentence :
"I'm just trying to be me............"
The first of all freedom, no one is allowed to take that off anyone.
Again peace to all of you, let's not forget that there's someone everywhere outside of our lives.
