What a great show! Amazing orchestral arrangements, full-length versions of almost all of her best work, including some re-worked arrangements that were absolutely stunning (Isobel done a-la 1950's movie orchestra!). :D
The visuals were bad to the bone - shooting spires of flame onstage and full-on 4th of July fireworks in the background over the water, timed perfectly with the music!
Minimal transitions, no medleys ... the only thing missing were the movies that were supposed to show onscreen behind the stage during the show but couldn't be shown due to high winds and dangers of the screen falling :(
In any case, the show WAS NOT sold out and there were plenty of tickets being scalped as well outside - there's another show tonight and if anybody feels like catching a really fantastic show, I highly recommend it. Cheers.
