If you had $25K to spend on equipment what would you buy?

a laptop or desktop computer with Reason2, Cubase SX, Mackie UAD1 dsp-board(only for desktops), a good controller synth like the Roland JP8000, nordlead, Novation KS4 or 5.....decent soundcard from M-audio, good monitors (f.e. genelecs, mackies or tannoy reveal)..a good mic-preamp, fe focusrite or TL Audio, a good condenser mic (fe AudioTechnica or Rode) and a Roland XV2020 or JV2080 or something like that for the bread&butter sounds..then add some softsynths (pro53, FM7, absynth, Oddity, Pentagon etc.) and a software sampler like Kontakt and you're set.....maybe a good outboard effects unit if you want to record live musicians and give them some nice reverb...lexicon or TC.....email me if you have specific questions, and yes, i am a gearslut ;)
