Nice beat, OK groove. I think the string sounds a little clean and disconnected from the track some how. Good starting point though.

Hey Steve,
Sorry, I planned to respond earlier. Nice track indeed...quality title too.
Wendy Elle makes the best Pancit (food) FACT!. Powdersoul allegedly makes a good pancit too ;)

Its has a nice tempo and its sewn together well but it sounds dated and cut/paste and if you going to use a riff from a sample cd use should try redesigning it for individuality..
Thanks for letting us listen!!!

Like the updated version on Soundcloud Steve, much better without vox.
p.s. Charles Davis.. 'Juke in Space' sounds dope on your myspace! what synth did you do the lead on?

New version added
The people have spoken LOL
Many did not like the vox so the new version it has been removed
Also took the strings down a little in the mix

Thanks for the comments Charles
I did chop the original sample up a little but it could use more
All a learning curve for me and I am still looking for good keybard players so i cut out the need for using such samples
Has anyone got any tips on the best way to redo samples like this?

The new version up is better liked around 2:30 where i thought it was the end but it was just a break TRICKSTER!!!!
You got some other bangaz up there too..Saturday keys ..Enzyme Black .Unbelievable Remix is real nice
As far as re-editing samples you can use a couple different
methods chop up half a sec of it and make a whole new melody or maybe run the sample through a filter/effect or do both???
Learning some keyboarding yourself would help
EUGE!!!
Thanks for the comment on Juke In Space the lead was me messing around with a plugin i forget which one !!!(need to be a lil more organized !!)lol

You come a long way Blacky.
Nice vibe and drum pattern.
I agree with the strings. Try to use some effects and make the notation variable.
Hearing you play that one note makes me think you're about to go somewhere with the instrument.
I’m feeling that break down somewhere in the middle of the track but, I think the break would fit smoother with another track that has more percussions in it.
I’m sure the idea was to create a different feel but I thought the transition didn’t compliment the general track.
Just my thoughts.
Again I like the mood of the track.
Keep it up.
