If you went on vacation with a person you loved to get away, but because of complications yall decided it was best not to talk after that weekend. Now, all weekend long yall did yall thing(sex) then came Saturday night and he says he can't do that with you anymore (he can't have sex with you) and then sets the alarm clock at 5 am and gets up and starts to load up. 7am yall are on yalls way back home...would you say he really cared for you and didn't wanna hurt or that he was just using you? Serious question!

Yea but then if Trinity was as annoying in real life like she is on message boards, then Neo would have taken the other pill, gone back to the matrix, refusing to live in reality and ****ed the finest matirx hotties that actually posted interesting topics on message boards right?

I think people who post requests for personal advice on message boards are really after support for stupid shit they've done - just like Cypher wanted to be reinserted back into the Matrix after he took the red pill.

Most of these people already know the answers to their question...just like the Architect revealed to Neo he already knew the answers.

See, people already made the choice to do selfish bullshit, they just need to know WHY they made the choice...just like the Oracle told Neo.

Because, if you're not honest with yourself, your problems will multiply exponentially...just like the 1000 Agent Smiths multiplied on Neo.

What I don't understand is why Neo, having been confounded once by a reality that was specious, would readily accept the fact that the "unplugged" version of reality was the true one. Only a fool would believe that because the first reality was false, the second must be the truth. It brings to mind the strategem of "false frontiers" employed by the Germans during the First World War: unwary spies or downed airman, sneaking across what they thought was the border between Germany and a neutral or friendly nation, would let their guard down once over the line, only to find that the "border" was a ruse manned by German soldiers dressed as Belgians (or what have you).
