Steve Dahl set up a friend of mine today

who was recording an interview with him for the BBC documentary on disco. Steve Dahl played the interview live on his show without telling my friend (who was in London doing the interview over the phone) that he was doing so. Then a bunch of callers called in making dumb comments about my friend's English accent and Dahl was making all kinds of outrageous statements about disco, homosexuality and race. He even had my friend send his resume (CV) to him before agreeing to the interview...which he then read out on air.

The man is truely a f*cking f*cker. I'm so shocked as everyone has been so kind giving interviews for this project and Dahl just did the most underhand thing.

You friend did not need any info from him to clarify things.....no need to clarify that he is still an asshole 24 years later.

i have been an avid non-fan of this guy since the age of around 5...when i first heard them on WLS. i believe he did a show with larry lujak (sp...but who cares) back then. i just remember he made an inordinate number of negative comments about harold washington for no known reason, and all i knew was that washington was our hero...and that he was the enemy mad1.gif
