What type of guys are woman feeling right now?
Is it the ever so popular thug? It seems like every woman that I have met lately says the they like nice guys but there with the exact opposite.
I want to know what type guys are the real ladies feeling right now. I mean the House ladies because it seems that there more mature then the rest. graemlins/conf44.gif

A girl who wants a thug either just likes it rough or is caught up in the "bling bling" and wants to go shopping. I can't be with you if you look like you're going to get shot at. Me, I go for the intellects. You don't have to be an Einstein, but you can't be the type that watches grass grow. Must not have anger management issues either. If he's a DJ, kool. Gainfully employed.

If I can attempt to answer your question in the most general sense, though, I think most women with some kind of sense want to feel appreciated, special and loved. We want continuous reminders that our beloved loves and wants us. Women tend to want someone to partner with, not anyone to lord over them, or someone who is a doormat whom we can lord over.

We notice the smallest of gestures (and go crazy for little thoughtful things) and the most casual of comments (this can be a good and bad thing).
Women also are talkers, sharers and nurturers, so we want to express ourselves, and want someone who will do the same in turn.

I think a lot (not all) of men sometimes get it twisted and assume that women are some monolith who all want same things and think, feel and act the same ways. So, if some women want men to spend money on them all the time, if if some women are attracted to "bad boys," if if some women do mean and spiteful things, then we all must be that way. That's a shame.

So is that what woman mean when they say " Men just don't understand" ?
So is it when guys need different things at different times we are a*@holes?

every woman needs a little thug love graemlins/spanka.gif

think of it this way. a man wants a suzy homemaker in the kitchen and a debbie does dallas in the bed.

a woman wants a tommy thug to lay it down right, who will hold her at night.

i know this is an over generalaztion, but i've seen too many times.

I think I'm very specific about what I want in a mate and that could be although I date, I try to only date those with the potential of being more than just a boyfriend...so some of my specifics are...in no particular order:

A man that loves himself…trust me this is sooo obvious
A man that is involved in his community
A fun person
Self-sufficient
Intelligent
Culturally aware
Aware of world happenings
A man that wants to travel the world
A man that does not want more kids
A man with style
A man that is open minded about life and trying new things
A man that is caring
A man that is appreciative
A man that loves sex just as much as I do
A man with a sense of humor
A man who is motivated and ambitious
Excellent hygiene
Prefer college education but it is not a necessity

I'm sitting here just laughing to myself thinking about Bobby Brown singing with Ja Rule (at least somebody gave him a gig)-some song about thug lovin'-I don't consider Bobby a thug, but he must be giving Whitney some thug loving and she apparently loves it. And then there's Nivea engaged to L'il Wayne-some people like it like that. Not to say thugs don't have a loving side, but with that comes a ruthless side. My opinion, being with a thug=Russian Roulette.

I want nothing to do with thug mentality.. (from what Ive seen in my experience it is stuck in negativity) and I am looking for positivity in a persons basic philosophy.. despite the badtimes you may have had to go through or are still going through. I was able to rise above and I need my man to also. I want a man who's trying to make his way through this world, with this world (maybe even trying to make it a better world)..not acting out (ala adolescence mentality) -all thugged out and trying to own (buy)his woman to prove he is a man. grow up.
I want aman with substance and maturity. He must be as old and as young as I am. mature but still having fun. able to take care of himself and not forget the kindness in his heart as well. someone who has come through the other side of hardtimes and chose a path of integrity to walk through this life.
oh yeah, and no sex hangups..he has to truly enjoy being a man and loving a woman. :D know how to turn up the heat when we are alone and be sexy as hell. make me feel like all the woman I am. graemlins/1luvu.gif

There are many, many specifics of taste, but overall, I think women have consistently wanted the same thing. A man who will take care of her, but not necessarily financially. Women want a man who makes them feel safe. I think that's at least some of the attraction to thugs. It's also part of the reason for the money thing. Women need to feel safe from poverty as well. Whether this is nature or nurture is completely debatable.
