i had to take my sound system to pieces because i was decorating and when i pieced it back together i kept having this weird scratchy annoying sound from my speakers.

i tried everything and the noise was terrible.

then just when i thought my mixer had gave way i looked straight at my speakers and sitting right next to it was a vibrating pencil case.

5 years at university doing sound engineering but thee is one thing for sure they never teach you about vibrating pencil cases!!

I am a mere fledgeling myself, but all of my soundsystem problems seem to come down to something simple...like a pencil case, or a bypass button. Of course, you only find that out once you have gone through EVERY other possiblity and your show is starting in 5 minuites.

Glad it was nothing serious.

glad you were able to make ammends with the system, my dearest. i had the same issue awhile back... note to self: aluminum folding chairs are not the best places to sit your amps smile.gif icon_rofl.gif

its fixed lol.i just have to paint my whole room now as i have been decorating and stuff and demolishing things. im painting it all white with a pine wooden floor and its looking really bare.infact i think its gonna look like a hospital lol! smile.gif

its weird when things like that happen vecause you never look at the place causing the problem,

its like when you lose your keys.you always look in the place where they aint!! smile.gif
