I am trying to determine what the problem was yesterday with this web site

I am waiting to hear from my web site hosting provider about the problems we had with the site yesterday. I have not ruled out the possiblity of hacking or a Denial of Service attack against this web site.

HTML.com - your hosting provider probably had a fiber outage. There were several other outages along the Eastern corrider served by MAE-EAST. They were doing some testing down there and it must have affected your server.

-G </font>[/QUOTE]peculiar indeed. Website Not Found errors were coming up here when looking for DHP. I only know this because I have a co-located server on that same pipe and they were out for periods of time yesterday as well. Hope you sort it out.

Hey G, I got 2 emails from the site one was a telling me that someone had replied to an old topic, but when I clicked on the link it said that that topic did not exist anymore...and the other was a private message which I had already received in the beginning of Febuary. Don't know if this will help you piece this together, but I thought it was kind of odd.

The cause of this web site being down yesterday was hard drive failures in the server that hosts my web site. They had to restore the server from backup.
