Just wanted to take a survey of sorts. What tracks, whether new or old, would you never EVER drop in your sets even if the crowd or people who hired you for the gig requested it. Just curious .....

I hate that freaking track. mad1.gif It's shit. Pure filth. Rather play "Carnival" by Club Ultimate than this cheap excuse for a latin beat.

I never ever play stuff out that I don't have...
Seems strange to me that you own records you do not want to play.

RD yes but let's just say people keep on buggin you about it. Or it could just be that you bought a track you felt at one point in time and didn't feel it anymore after a certain time. Sure we all are pros at this and we don't buy tracks that aren't timeless (insert sarcastic icon here) but eh, everyone makes a mistake, right?

"Celebration" - Kool and the Gang. I'm sorry but that tune brings back flashbacks of teen years that I never want to relive. EVER.
"I'm Horny" - I can never remember who this is by. I think it was out on Peppermint Jam. I own it and loved it at the time. Now? (shudder)
"Cuban Pete" - Jim Carey (enuf said)
"Back Dat Ass Up" - I once had someone get EXTREMELY hostile with me because I didn't have/play this cut. Can't remember who this is by either.

The mistake-thing is very true, before I discovered the music we all discuss here I bought and played several hundreds of euro-rave and trance, I kept those tracks that really meant something and sold the rest, so I kinda cheated and made sure I could never play those.

As of the newest song I know of - the Floitry (S/P) remix of Say Yes...it is more hype than skill IMO graemlins/puke.gif
I don't see why so many DJ's in Chicago were flippin' over it like - It was a rare old Ron Hardy track the he never pressed.
Just my opion.

I'm surprised that a lot of folk said "Finally", but NO ONE said "Follow Me", in many folks opinion, the most mainstream, sellout song in the history of house music. Maybe it's because it's so unanimous, that no one even mentions it.
I personally like "Follow Me" because of the message, though, if I were a dj, I wouldn't run it like I'm at a Hip Hop/R&B/Reggae party. Peace.
