View Full Version : This past Sunday in NYC

Alot of great parties went on and all were packed. I only made it to Dance Ritual with Louie Vega, MR V, and Dj Dixon from Germany. I left at 430 am and it was still packed.No problems this time with the hiphop party on the lower level. Some cuts that stood out for me were:

Feeling Fine- Markus Enochsun
Cloud 9- Donnie (Some acapella with just the keys behind it)
Street Player- Chicago Re-edit
Elle-DJ Gregory with vocals by Anane
Nos Vida- Louie Vega (New Dance Mix)

Also Sunday :

David Mancuso's Loft Party..Heard from all that were there that the energy was great up in there.

The same was said about Together in Spirit with Kim Lightfoot and Herb Martin. I heard the vibe was so good in there that there was no downstairs DJ but the music was piped down there and people were dancing their asses off even on that floor.

This is what NYC used to be about. Hopefully it is getting back to that.

Hey Timmy,were you wearing a bandanna that night? If so I though that was you. I'm sorry I didn't come up to you to tell you who I was. I get really embarassed when it turns out not to be the person I thought it was. I'll be going back up to New York soon. Peace.

This is what NYC used to be about. Hopefully it is getting back to that. Hey wassup Timmy. Actually your report is great news for us all. Finally we are starting to see some sign of life back in the club scene.
