View Full Version : S.A.D
Seasonal Affective (?) Disorder
I don't know if anyone else goes through this but I think I do. I've read that upping one's vitamin D intake helps, so once Fall hits, I start taking more cod liver oil. DOes anyone have any other suggestions or things they do to combat this?

light therapy.
I'm already down with the massive amounts of herb. icon_rofl.gif
I just don't like the constant sleeping and moodiness. Last year the cod liver oil really helped. Maybe California is the place I wanna be.

light therapy. I've read about those lamps ... Aren't they like $150 or more? I remember an episode of Northern Exposure where one of the characters got addicted to the light therapy. He was up all hours of the day and night. Maybe forcing myself to be more active will help. I'm working more hours now so ... graemlins/conf44.gif

here's a slick website from a company w/ some very good looking therapy lamps. expensive as hell but these look cool as hell. www.megatron.net/snowlabdesign/index_ie.html (http://www.megatron.net/snowlabdesign/index_ie.html)
i did some research for whirlpool looking at s.a.d. and ways to combat it. i designed some products for them which probably never see the light of day.
