Hello there MIZZMEME!!

I think it came out in 2008. I just got wind of it this year and couldn't put it down!!!! She also wrote The Coldest Winter Ever. which was another very satisfying read.

But Midnight was TOOOOOOO good. I hope you get a chance to check it out! Happy Reading!!

I hope you try Borders. They are pretty good about having things in stock and will also order if need be.

I just read this other book recently my sister lent to me. I couldn't put that one down either. I gave it back to her already, but I'll get the info again (Author and name of the book).

I am currently reading Coldest Winter Ever. That is one book filled with a lot of irony.

I bought the book on Sunday. I haven't started it yet, but it's going to be my weekend read. The Coldest Winter Ever was great, so I'm anxious to read Midnight.

I should've posted sooner. It was good, but not great. It was not as good as The Coldest Winter Ever. I may re-read it to make sure I didn't miss something. I was disappointed with his admiration for his father. He abandoned them! But, he used the things his father taught him as a young boy to protect/take care of his mom and sister. I think that was the bigger point. All in all, it was a good read.

I assumed the father was gonna be murdered so he sent his family away less they be murdered too. Like you, I enjoyed the great things instilled in him as well. The tone the book had of values, strengh, endurance, devotion and love possed by a young male is what captured me. Thanks for your response C-King. Have any suggestions for another book? I may pick up a couple this weekend.
