Do you have a formula for your mix?

sort of...a lot of times ill find myself going
vocal track->non-vocal track->vocal track->non vocal etc...i dont really mean to. graemlins/stupid.gif

The formula is to know your records and know them well. At that point just experiment with different beats and sounds to see which ones go together better and just feel things out. Just do what's inside you and go with that vibe. Knowing your records from beginning to end is the most important thing though, so focus on that.
