the poetry or meaning of the
lyrics.
the strength or control of
the vocals.

The bass line is what always hooks me and then it's the rest of the music that just builds on top of it. It's rare, but there are some songs that have given me goose bumps. Most have been Jazz songs but there have been a few Pop and House songs that have done it too.

The sax. There's something about it that takes me somewhere. After that, drums/percussion.

if it's something deep and true it can be anything. from Miles' trumpet sound that sounds sometimes like a human voice that's braking up and cry, thru the strings arrangments of Patrick Adams to the voice of Alicia Mayers...

The change in emotion that the music instill's is what touches me inside. Whatever the music, it's the change in emotion caused by listening to it that i feel the most. Sometimes, some music is cold, but clever, and that makes me feel cool (trendy) listening to it, some music is warm and makes me feel upset. Whether is the strings, the melody or the bass, or all of it together, it's the emotion thats already inside me that does it for me. I like to feel the change...

There are so many things because we listen to different styles of music. Vocal inst , experimental. For me it's the spirit that comes through it. And when it all comes togther to make me shake it.

I love Stringz too, however a nice smoth vocal catches my ear too....

the right words with feeling, inflection - MEANING. Beautiful keys, strings, harmonies & beats all help, but to me, it's the delivery of the vocal.

The human voice is the most perfect instrument, created by God and able to make an inifinite number of sounds. When you combine that with a real message and real feeling, it just melts me.

depends on the music, the moment, the melody, the memory, the motion and the meaning.

music itself alone teaches us about the value of words and the value of silence from our own desire to create the "right" one.

lyrics are poetry.

Its just something about a Vocal or a Track if its nice i just get this feeling all over me that feels so good. I dont know how much different life would have been without Song, I dont want to find out.
