View Full Version : Kikrokos - Life Is A Jungle - Ron's Jungle DJ Edit
Thanks to the track-id skills of JMJ I do know that Ron Hardy edited this thing. My question now is, if it ever was comemrcially released or just one of those reel to reels? Any help is gladly appreciated as always.
Peace,
Gerd

someone press this stuff up.
There were three boots with Ron Hardy Edits recently. All in poor sound quality, but with nice Music Box sleeves...
Peace,
Gerd
Btw, was there are 12inch of the original track or just the LP-Version?

Gerd

Those phony Hardy edits are not even close to it.Most of his career is highlighted on this site.I never heard him drop some of those cuts on those ep's.Then they wanted 17 bucks for a crappy pressing.
Ya'll know that if something like that drops,Chi heads will let you know if it's authentic or not....
Yeah, that is why you have to love DHP so much. The best source for informations about house and related stuff around.
If those were no Hardy edits, who did them? And Hardy did really never play any Tom Tom Club or Kraftwerk cuts?
Peace,
Gerd

Harvey's 'disco adjustments from swallow' 12 on Black Cock' features that 'Jungle' edit.
Might find getting hold of a copy a tad difficult though.
Thanks, Billy.
But Black cock stuff is so hard to find these days...

I've never heard a true representation of Hardy's edits on vinyl, except for the early Ashley Beedle "Welcome to the Club" edit. But Beedle did that one. You just have to listen to Ron Hardy's mixes to get a real idea of where he was coming from with his edits.
