it seems the Iraqui plan is to lure us into the cities...in such a case the advantage switches tp the defenders.....shit is going to get bloody for all concerned

a seige will just kill civilians slowly and the alternative is to bomb civilian areas in which their army is intermingled

... but yeah, its gonna get ugly. I wonder how long the American public will put up with this... what's going to be the breaking point when we start carpet bombing everything, civilians and all in order to protect our soldiers lives ?

Would it necessarily be wrong to go that route should the opposing force insist upon putting its own civilians in the front lines ?

Does the typical Iraqi citizen know of any other life EXCEPT one lived on the front lines ?

Will we take ANOTHER slap on the face and loss of credibility in the global community by pulling out of this war without achieving our stated goal ?

How many times will our government let the US look like punks before they "spray the whole block" in the ultimate show of force ?

Much like the Iraqi leadership being surrounded in Baghdad, don't you think the US leadership feels cornered as well ?

Damn you Mark... your one comment resulted in all these questions spewing out of my mind at the end of the day and all I wanted to do was go home, watch some Seinfeld, have dinner with a lovely lady and go to bed dreaming of a nice new Escalade with 24's.
