Do you own more music than you could ever possibly hope to find time to listen to?

Between the 900+ CDs I own and the 500+ mixes I've downloaded from the internet, I often feel that I'll never be able to listen to everything. Yet I continue to purchase CDs and I hoard online mixshows like they were pieces of gold. http://deephousepage.com/smilies/grngreedy.gif

I have that with vinyl. I keep on buying second hand stuff on fleamarkets and fairs. Then I often listen to them once and file them in my collection and end up forgetting about them.

It happened more than once that I heard a track and asked a friend if he knew what it was. "oh, that's this and that album", and I went like: "What?? is it on there? I have that one".
Discovering stuff in your own collection that you didn't like two years ago is the best!

Discovering stuff in your own collection that you didn't like two years ago is the best! Yeah, I love when that happens. Or if a song is new to people and you've liked it for a while, that's pretty cool too. I'm definitely overwhelmed with all the music I have. Right now I'm focusing on downloading all the mixes that I like. CDs I probably have close to 300 ... used to have a lot more but sold some ..
