where is a banging club in Chicago that fully represents that banging House feel. Not loungy or laid back, but "work that sweaty body" atmosphere.

Also can anyone suggest a club that they play the old school trax like WBMX days or mid eighties house (chip e., tyree, farley, etc.)? I don't know if there is such a place. If there is, is it tighter than the extra small spandex i'm wearin?

peace

one last thing. Since farley and knuckles are old school...when they spin, do they play older stuff or do they play modern trax? Do you know?

Do you know? knuckles plays mostly new and unreleased stuff on the clubby side w/ classics usually at the beginning and end. you can search here for reviews of his thanksgiving set. w/ farley u never know but last time i saw him he played tracks.

For the olds school trax, your best bet would be the Prop House on Thursday July 3rd. It's anice size venue with two rooms with different systems.

DJ Emmanuel form the Attic/Hidden Lounge and Mike Dunn will play the old school in the back room, while Greg Gray will play a mixed set of old and new music in the front room along with another jock whose name I can't recall at this time.

Hope that helps...

Peace,

Why does the Prop House get such a bad rap?

Because it just plain sucks.

Yeah so far she's all set and really looking forward to it. I'm so glad that she's getting away and seeing another part of the country. Start making her own world. I've got cousins that live in Baltimore, My dad lives in Philly, cousins in NYC and washinton dc so she wont be totally alone.

great, morgan is an excellent school, baltimore can be a little ill, but coming from the chi she can handle it, definitely helps to have family support

They play the same tunes like the radio, you can look at ya watch and know what time a certain song will be played. They do try to play some new tunes, but they are old ones, from like a few years ago.

Folks go here and only here, because they think this is where they can find house.I do NOT go anywhere my lil sister hangs...too young for me.

I let them wallow in their own lil world, cause I know better. The gay nite is waaaay different than the normal nites.Ron Carroll plays there.Rel and crew have been having these sets for some years there.I played on one of their nites before with a cross promotion.Very nice nite.

As the census shows, that place rates high on the scale of wackness.
