Red D...

Thanks for coming to Birmingham and getting real KINKY on the decks! I can certainly appreciate all the damn classic Chicago traxxxxx you put on at the Liquid Lounge. Got so hot --- I had to get off the dance flo'. You definitely played some crowd pleasers for everyone in the room. BIG UPS FOR BRINING SOME'N DIFFERENT TO B'HAM --- THEY NEEDED SOME BELGIAN KINKY-NESS TO JUMP START THE WEEKEND!!! KUDOS!

It was an honor and a pleasure to "kick it" with you this weekend.

You will be missed.

Take care,
Efab graemlins/remybussi.gif

PS.
Next time we are getting the platter for 4 people and an extra plate; dinner for 5 was just too much.... LOL! graemlins/rofl.gif

Hey Red!

Well played son! If I'd had a pound for everytime somone asked "Who's the geezer on the decks? He's wicked"! I'd have come home with 60 nicker instead of spending it.

People dancing none stop to a superb blend of music. Lots of Chicago classics, and how on earth did you manage to drop "Rock the Casbah" so seamlessly? huh?

Rock on Red D whenever next time I see ya is it won't be soon enough! graemlins/respekt.gif

Jason (Jamo) played first with a cross selection of old skool downtempto electro cuts from way back when, went into some nice gear from Quantic, 2000 Black, Vikter Duplaix shifted it up a gear into some tracks I am not familiar with as well as the likes of Jazzanova, IG Culture etc etc.

Red D then came on and played some beauties worked the tempo on the up, I can remember hearing Rolling Stones, Talking Heads, The Clash amongst new and old house, oooh an old favourite of mine Dextrous - Nightmares on Wax ....... actually they where all favourites even if I hadn't heard them before, he has a great ear for good music as you know. Quantic Soul orch. rework of 4 heros hold it down was superbamundo. So many too name too little time. LET'S JUST SAY "OUTSTANDING" !

I ended the night with some oldies such as 33 1/3 Queen - Searching, Laurent X, Renegade Soundwave - the phantom, Reese Project - Direct Me (JNegro Mix), Ples - Can't stop graemlins/beerchug.gif , Leftfield - not forgetton (azuli01) and Jean Carne was that all it was and Mahoggany on West End.

Gotta go, my head said so, ouch a wow wow
