My stay in Paris was mostly in cool climate (as cool as San Francico is in August). I missed the heatwave by about two/three weeks.
From what people back home told me, the way the American media reported it, the heatwave was still going on, and many my loved ones, understandably, were concerned for my well being.
Did the networks here in the States report the heatwave as if it was still going on? If so, that is very unfortunate. I'm having many issues with the way the news is being reported. And the heatwave is just one of them.
My prayers are with families who are grieving over lost loved ones due to this tragic event. Peace.
