He's posting on bringtheheat.com's messageboard along with some other folks who can't get in. G says his domain expired, yet some of us can get on, go figure. graemlins/stupid.gif

It may be that now he has reset up the domain, it will have to replicate itself all over the world so it's recognized by all servers. It's possible only a few main servers are updated. All servers should have the update in 24 hours. Users should try tomorrow. graemlins/grinyes.gif

Many servers still have the IP address valid and therefore route the traffic accordingly. It would take a couple of days for all the DNS records across the internet to propogate the change to the domain handler.
That gives it a little time at least.

Come on boo, you know I know that. I figure the problem is that they are trying to access the main page (which I cannot get into) and then trying to hit the board rather than hitting the board directly (which I do).
Whatevers clever.

it's a global DNS problem->that said my ISP The domain name was still registered to me but they turned the Domain name services off for it. Eventually no one would have been able to reach the site once sll the DNS servers had been updated across the internet. The original expiration date that was listed in the "whois" before I had it updated was "Expiration Date: 04-dec-2003". An expired domain name was the problem. Contacting Register.com and renewing my domain name fixed the problem.
