Fletch;
You should have a good time. I spent some time with a pastry chef (work related) that did something for that show, and I was simply amazed by what can be created with chocolate. I think the Japanese team were best in class. Enjoy and bring a sweet tooth.

I know a guy that travels the world seeking rare and fine chocolate. He's got the craziest stories. He once told me a story about all of these different chocolate companies that had "agents" scrambling all over South America looking for some rare cocoa bean that was formerly believed to be extinct. They would align themselves with various Indigenous tribes to get help finding the lost cocoa bean. I kid you not.

The show was MAD TIGHT!!!! All of the chocolates were off the chain, especially the marshmallows drenched/coated from a chocolate fountain. All of the decorations (including the fashions) were out of this world.
And best of all, I had a couple of samples of the chocolate liqour (perfect Christmas drink) and sweet California desert wine. graemlins/all_coholic.gif Unfortunately, Liquor license regulations prevent sale at the show (gotta get it online).
Tomorrow's the last day. GET THERE EARLY, for the Fire Department holds up the line outside when it gets capacity.
