Ok guys ive started buying records recently and i think ive covered a lot of tunes from 2001 till today(well my favourite anyways).

Im going to be getting probably most of the things id like from 89 to 96 from a friend when he comes back from abroad but i need to fill the gap between 97 to 2001!!

i dont mean decent tunes i mean classy ,immense tunes!

Tunes that will match the standard of brand new day, music in me,change for me,days like this!!!

If some of the top guys can point me to some tunes id be grateful.Im not saying im gonna buy them but if i can get an idea where to start that be great!!

Thanks in advance!!! :D

o Abstract Truth - We Had a Thing (1998).
o Roland Clark - I Get Deep (2000).
o Rain: A Lil Louis Painting - Giving Up (2000).
o Kerri Chandler - Trionisphere 3 (2000).
o Blaze - Paradise (2001).
o Blaze - Wishing You Were Here (1999).
o Blaze - Elevation (2000)
o Carl Hancock Rux - Lementations (2000)
o Dennis Ferrer - Soul Collectives vol.1 (2000)

In this era you will not go wrong by checking the works of Dennis Ferrer (Sfere, Large), Kerri Chandler(Large, King Street, Madhouse), Phil Asher (Restless Soul) and look out for certain releases on labels Ibadan, Wave, Shelter and King Street..

Although many will not agree with me, I feel you've pick an excellent era for music, during this time there was some outstanding releases available and artists like Blaze really started to hit new and exciting avenues

Prehaps only when the year is 2010 will some people respect this music for what it is, in other words, Classics. In the meantime, you get spinning it, while pulling a face like this ( graemlins/tongueout.gif ) to the moochers and moaners!

Does cognitive science provide an account of the nature of meaning that is necessary and sufficient for contributing to the resolution of differences between various schools of literary criticism?

One choice I think many people forgot is St. Germain "Rose Rouge".

What was the name of the track that kind of had the Marving Gaye hook in it, or it sound like Marvin Gaye. I got this song in my head and it is hard to describe because it really doesn't have words. I think in the hook it goes, You know I love you Baby. I know this probably not helping yall.

I'll probably be crucified for this, but "Star Suite" by Blaze was a dope cut. I think it will be a classic sooner or later. Yes, the song was overplayed, but that's a song I don't mind hearing a lot because dj's would play different parts of the tune and it would still work.

While we're on the subject of recent tunes, there's a tune I've been looking for for a few years now. All I know is that it's on a Glasgow Recordings compilation from the early to mid-90's. The song is called "Bedroom Hustler". My buddy World used to play this and tear the club up with it. I've been looking for it ever since. Any help?

Come to think of it, maybe this was pre-1997...

Worth finding anyway though.

HEY beaniboy67 .......
in my opinion (here in Italy) the best house-period was from 1991 to 1995......so, try to cover that, i suppose it will be not easy.
good luck
