Tell you the truth, I need to go to the Dr and have them check my foot. I'm flat-footed and I notice that there's some kind of bruising in the arch of my foot compared to my right foot. It only hurts when I'm getting ready for work in the morning. It's definately not the shoes I wear.
Peace
I'm glad u didnt get hurt. One of my friends (basketball teammate) had an a similar accident last year - end of the shift trying to work fast and not really paying enough attention. He was unloading something with this fork, but didnt notice their was some stuff on top of the pallets - it fell right thru the roof of the fork and crushed his pelvis and left leg. He will probably never play basketball again...

Peace Is the bruise/pain in the back of the arch (where the arch meets the heel)? If so, you may have plantar fascitis. As a runner, I've gotten it so many times (especially after I ran the NY Marathon 10 years ago). I'm not a doctor, but it may be so. Have your doc check for that. If it is, then ice, rolling foot on a ball (or a dough roller), message and hot water with epson salt should do it. You have to treat it constantly.
It may be a lot of things (constant pounding, extensive standing, shoes, etc). Check how old your shoes are and how sturdy/cushioned. Peace.

Thank heavens you still got all your fingers. I can empathize with you completely as I work with chainsaws, and I never have an accident when doing something dangerous, or difficult. It's always when you are bored, tired, and doing some menial task then bang!!another twenty stitches.
Forklift trucks have got as chequered a history as chainsaws so take it easy, hospital food sucks!!
