making R&B remixes????????????

Take into account that I have no experience with any software and I'll need to learn it as well, just wondering what would be the best way to go, thanks.......

Hey Mr. Chuck P

I would say, start out with Ableton Live. It has time stretching to put those vocals on a dance music tempo and it has the option to add outside synths/drum machines etc.. Not to mention the synths and drum machine it already comes with.

Good luck sir.

Ableton Live. I used it to do the remix on my Myspace page. It's the only song there for now but more are in work. ;-)

Thank you very much for the encouragement, interest and support. Being that I don't have the rights given by Quincy Jones and Chaka Khan, it's for free.

Mr. Jones and Chaka Khan will be contacted as potential popularity grows and a contractual agreement can be made.

IMHO.
Any software can produce what you seek.
To me its just a matter of knowing the functions a program can do.
And most importantly its the program you feel most comfortable with and the amount of $$$ you have to invest in such programs.

Good luck fella.

PS.
Check out the thread on Recording with reason.
For the price of the 2 in 1 package thats very good.

Happy Producing
