Having just moved house, i had to take a bag of my most precious records that i would not trust to the movers..

Just gone through the bag and been playing my old alleviated stuff, mystery of love, i'm strong, waterfall and a love of my own and just thought i'd see what other peoples favorites are.

my no.1 is probably -mystery of love, the dub mix with all the efx closely followed by 'feeling sleezy'

Washing Machine. So far out there !!
The dub of "What about this love". Used to hear this early on a friday night as the Hacienda filled up. So early that there was still daylight coming through the roof. A great memory.
Children at play.
Beyond The Clouds.

Mr. Fingers - Closer
MCA Records, 1992 (MCA 12-54363)

A1) Closer (Sasha Mix)
A2) Closer (Frankie Foncett Dude Mix)
A3) Closer (Sasha Jazz Odyssey Mix)
B1) Closer (The Deep Downbasement Mix)
B2) Closer (Club Mix)
B3) Closer (Frankie Foncett Closer To The Underground Mix)

B1 & B2 are Larry's own remixes. Worth the purchase just for B1; it's like the LP version but mixed down differently (different effects, etc). IMO it's deeper & thicker. Club Mix is just ok.

**Note: there was also a 2x12" promo-only pack of Closer as well. No other Larry remixes, just more from Frankie Foncett & Sasha. IT DOES, however, contain USSR----which you may know is only available otherwise on the Introduction bonus 12".

BTW, both of these are on eBay right now.

I can't think of a single Fingers Inc. track that I don't like. What quality they were. I was lucky enough to see them live in 1987/88 in some dive in Newcastle...i'll never forget it.

P.S. Did anyone else out there ever get the entire "Back To Love" LP mis-printed on the "I Need You" CD single? I vaguely remember someone else saying that they did. I often wonder how many of these are actually in people's hands.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned 'Donnie'! That track bleeds...

And although it doesn't get as much attention (maybe because it's so easy to find), I really think all the tracks on his 'Calm and Chaos' Guidance release are fantastic.

'you're mine' by Fingers inc ron hardy edit and
some other said it's another track edited by another DJ.
I wouldlike havin the conclusion about it,I don't remember if there was a conclusion.

This is DEFINTELY a hard answer to narrow down to one, so I will name my ULTIMATES that does it for me every time:

1) "Love & Justice"

2) "What About this Love" ((c)1989 aliviated
records)

3) "Children at Play"

These (3) tracks are VERY special to me. Thank you VERY MUCH, Larry Heard - From your biggest fan, Harry A! smile.gif
