At VINYL while it was SHELTER, I heard TIMMY REGISFORD throw on DREAMIN' and thats when I met JOHN CROCKETT in person!

Back in the GOOD OLE EARLY 90's while at SOUND FACTORY BAR, HIPPIE TORRALES played THIS IS SKA and I ran around the club like I had lost my MIND!

I'll NEVER FORGET the last DANCE RITUAL at VINYL where I first heard the MAW REMIX of FINALLY and the whole club SANG ALONG with the song!

I remember being at some dodgy acid house do in east london early 89 and the dj playing Laurent X - 12am and everyone jackin their bodies in unison that party finished around 12am .

I've told this one before Boy's Own Party - not the band , in Milton Keynes 92 I think last record outdoors in a marquee around 7am . Ashley Beedle playing William Pitt - City Lights just as I was thinking of the drive back to London and the state of my friend and if he could drive...

A few Harv moments . Last gig at Plastic People before flying off to San Francisco five of us left in the club and Harv plays T.C Curtis - I should of known better dub with the intro "I'm leaving today" .

At 333 in the basement around 4.30am after serving some great cuts Supertramp - Cannonball and Azymuth - Dear Limertz . Harv drops from the top Curtis Mayfield - Pusherman made me think yeah keep feeding me with thse records ! .

Going to Shelter @ Vinyl and hearing Timmy mixing the intro to Element's of Life (first time hearing ) and working the build up and then at the drop whoever was doing the lights turned them all off for a moment and then bang on again . The whole place going crazy in rapture and me thinking these are some of the elements damm ...

Hearing Francois playing a tribal house cut and me watching the whole floor going off at that moment I saw the muscle guys at the back getting down , then Danny Krivit playing "Umi Says" and I thought how are those guys gonna get off to this now and they went into hip hop dance mode . I wondered where else could this happen ? .

Back to Shelter recent trip..

Hoping to hear Timmy play something a little special in the morning before my trip home that evening . Standing in the booth - thanks Ray , and Timmy plays that killer african jazz thing Bobby Hutcherson - NPU (props to Herb as well , :rolleyes: :D is this a Shelter classic ? ) .And rushing out to the floor and watching the dancers do piroutttes , handstands , holding moves whatever to visually display the music in any way they could serious...

Back in blighty..

Theo Parrish's first visit to Plastic's and he drops Ann Clarks - Our Darkness making me want to jack again and again then later playing "The Sweetest Pain" while I'm dancing with my then loved one .

David plays GQ - Disco Nights - a record that is at the back of my disco section due to hearing it played to death in London myself inc. And hearing this amazing keyboard riff in the record and thinking I've never heard this sound like this so much so that I was whistling it to work the next morning . Another point leaving that party and thinking hold on my ears are not ringing ! .

When partying at Magic Sessions several years ago, I heard Louie Vega perfectly mix "Expansions" into a skip in Pepe Braddock's "Deep Burnt" and the next thing you know I was dancing on top of a speaker with no shirt on

When partying at Red Zone, I heard Frankie drop "Where Love Lives" and felt myself completely swept away ... same goes for when he dropped "The Whistle Song" at Sound Factory and all the multi-colored ring lights started up around the room

When partying at Zanzibar, I heard Tony drop Mass Order "Lift Every Voice and Sing" and felt the room shake because everybody in the room was freaking

When partying at Choice, I watched the balcony start to collapse and saw people running for their lives (thank God everybody was okay and they moved the party)
