I try not to get too personal on the board.

Alright, this is kinda crazy, but check this out.
Okay, my mom and dad both passed away, but left no will to their estate. Otherwise my sister and I would have been the beneficiary to all the assets (Only god knows why we didn't have one). But because there was no will the property has to go thru probate court (not to sure if this is a Tx thing or not). When my parents passed away the house was paid for,and at the time I was living with my girlfriend in an apartment. I moved back home to take care of the house, and my sister did, too. We split the taxes that year, and I moved out shortly after that. My sister stayed there for a whole year and a half after I had already moved out, and didn't pay the taxes for the whole year of 2002 about $3,000. Keep in mind that I have 2 other siblings (From my mom's first marriage) that were not mentioned.

The Probate court is finally getting settled, and the unpaid taxes where taken out of all of our portion, and now my little sister doesn't feel that she owes the taxes? WTF? The taxes were paid off the top of the total settlement. She refuses to pay. We are asking for $1,000 each. What would you do? Pretty soon all us siblings will be getting a large sum of money so it's not like she doesn't have it. She feels that she should be excluded.

First Michael....Why did you change that cool ass slogan line yo had...

But yes..Don't let their be a death in the family it's like seeing vultures devouring a carcass...It's best to stay away from these fools when the worst come out of them.. to make it so bad it is the ones I just new would not take part in the satanic ritual that surprised me the most with their greed and non caring attitude for the lost of life.

Let her keep the money. When she actually realises what she has done she will regret it(if not shes not worth worrying about). In years to come she may regret it and pay for it another way.The deal is tho,you would be doing the right thing and you would no that.It will only take a matter of time till she realises the same.Sometimes money is not worth the paper its written on.A person in my family done exactly the same as youre sister years ago!!!

i know what you're sayin'. money messes people up. when my grandma died we got a settlement 'cuz the home was deemed negligent(sp). my aunt took off with all the money, traveled, bought a car and what-not. wtf is that about.
