Well, the film everyone knows to be "The Disappearance of Donnie Bishop" has been retitled "5150". It is slated for nationwide release from Silver Nitrate Entertainment - a label of Filmnic (the company that released "Memento" and "Spun").

Expect it on the new release shelf September/October 2003. Thanks to everyone who supported the effort. Now on to the next one.

Yea - it'll probably reach you before I do. I hope you enjoy it. Lord knows I can't look at it anymore.

Do you know if there are plans to release it abroad, Bold Soul? It'd be great to see it if possible.

I am currently working out how to take it around Europe with the original title. If you have any suggestions, I'm all for them. Thanks Johnny.

Holy crap!! graemlins/scared.gif I was gonna start a thread earlier today about what the hell was going on with your film. Are you listening to my thoughts?

Anyway, I expect the red carpet treatment at the premiere with a large buttered popcorn, some nachos, and a large mountain dew. Thank you for your cooperation. graemlins/cool_shades.gif

All in all, I think it's as good a no-budget first film as most of those whose careers I would like to emulate. We'll see what the public thinks though.

Congratulations, man.

I did some time in the film biz (Shooting Gallery) so I have some idea of the bullshit you must have been through to get your film made, much less distributed. Seriously. Congratulations.

Danny, all my congrats... You kow you can still contact sarah (anaisbee) for Europe, and I'll try to find you someone else, Tonito whom you may have seen here from time to time is the "electricity chief" on some movies in France, he knows a lot of people,, will check what he can do !

Whatever, the fact that you did this film and took it to the movie theaters is the big deal in all this story.
Not anyone can handle a project from its conception to its release.
Big big congrats, I hope it'll make you rich enough to pass to the next project (and i can figure that you have many mind)

Bold soul, the tough and thought guy !

Bold soul, the tough and thought guy ! Sweeter than sweet sentiments, Mathieu. Thank you.

I'll reach out to Sarah once I think through a strategy for EU.

Thanks to everyone for your warm thoughts and support.

My ex GF works for the Dutch film board in Amsterdam. She may have good contacts with European distributors. I could get you in contact with her if you're interested.

Sorry about the title change though.
