I could have sworn I have seen this record around, but maybe it was not a promo. Either way, that is quite a bit of dough to shell out. Peep it:
Newcleus 12" (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=1581&item=2552806845)

I'm going to have to start looking more closely. I wouldn't mind an extra $300 in my pocket for a record.

magic_juan  Greetings Magic Juan, I checked that out too.
If you look at the bidding history, it was basically
a bidding war between about 4 people once the bids
went above $150.
I doubt that anyone else who trys selling that promo
will get anywher near the final winning bid.
A little more than month or so ago, Flying High by CLOUD NINE, a
Patrick Adams electro-jammie, sold for $100.
A coupla weeks ago, the same record sold for less than $10!

Is there something special or different about the
promo version?
Or are these deep-pocketed collectors spending
all that money to get a "designated promo" with
the exact same songs?
I vaguely remember listening to this when it came
out and not being impressed...
Hmmm, let's see if I can find my copy...

Hmmm, let's see if I can find my copy... I wonder the same thing. I would easily drop $100 for a record I REALLY want, but that is just ridiculous .....

Hmmm, let's see if I can find my copy... the promo had the lp version on 12" format. the commercial release had a different version to the promo. there-in lies the method to the ebay madness.
