Checked out BKNY last night,

Respect to Donna Edwards, Kayo!, Tyrone Francis and guest Dj Timmy Richardson.

I had a good time and the music was slamming!!!!

Good seeing Duran Tarik (DIP),Libby,Tricia, Dennis Gregory,Tee Mallory,Camacho,Mark Mendoza,Wil Milton, Adrianne,B-Nice & others that were out and about last night.

Was there early myself and had a very nice time! Kayo was doing his thing and wove into a mini-latin set which was preceded by Femi Kuti, I thoroughly enjoyed it, thank you! Donna blew me away when she started with this Arnold Jarvis record I don't hear anybody play, God forbid I should recall the name, lyrics about love slipping away.... Donna proceeded to tear me up with the new Jocelyn Brown/Loleatta Holloway record, those ladies got pipes Donna, thank you for putting it on the decks! Had to leave around 10:30 so I missed Tyrone and Timmy graemlins/mecry.gif

Okay, I have the names, it just makes me nuts when I can't remember stuff I specifically asked to see the names of, I'm a lame trainspotter! Arnold Jarvis - You Let Love Slip Away and Better World (I think, I hope) - Jocelyn Brown/Loleatta Holloway both on King Street. Great lyrics with great voices to boot.

By the way..a couple of joints that I got from people on DHP went over well including Groove Victim's reworking of LIl Louis' "Rain". That Herbie Hancock joint that Tony Cano turned us on to here. And the original "Secret garden " remix which was stolen earlier this year, done by Dj Sty.
