And coming out in a couple of months...
I've bought stuff from Mike in the past, he always comes correct, although Theo didn't seem that pleased that Mike goes around selling white labels he and other Detroit producers hand over to him for 'promotional' purposes. Seems a bit like promoting ones bank account to me...

I asked myself yesterday, if his friends know what he is doing.
He also sold a lot of those Ugly Edits.
Peace.

It's a tricky one, a lot of Detroit-shops receive stacks of white labels they sell in their shops, so from that point of view you can't blame Mike selling them on e-bay, it all depends on the purpose Theo and the guys have in mind when they hand out white labels, if they do so to get them distributed for free to key dj's Mike is way out of line, if they do so and get paid for the white labels they can't blame Mike nor the shops.
Reggie Dokes and myself have agreed that he will be shipping white label promo copies of various Detroit labels to me with the purpose of distributing them to key dj's in Belgium, I won't ever make a buck out of those, it's a matter of respect.

$36.00 graemlins/scared.gif i looked and it said the auction ended at $66.00 dollars not $36.00. WOW!!!!
a lot of the people that eat up these Theo and Moodymann records for these outrageous prices are all these IDM types. who are like software, and program designers, so they can actually afford to drop $66.00 dollars on a slab of vinyl that will cost them $7.00 dollars when it is officially released in a few months.
right when i noticed that IDM heads were getting into various house artists (Theo, & Herbert, especially) 2-3 years ago, is when i noticed that the prices for these artists back catalog jumped through the roof.

Hey look, even the seller thought that was way too much, and instructed the winner to pay less. Which is a good move IMO.
"now the demand for this item has surpassed us. the winning bidder who won this ending at $66.00 was instructed to not pay that . i thought that was way too much to pay . this was simply posted to get the word out about future releases on harmonie park, and to let people know that tracks are comming out again.
so, im offering this to you for what i told him to pay. so if you want a test pressing of this way in advance, grab it. its definitely not comming out until next year. final buyer pays $4.50 for shipping in the us, 10.00 worldwide. payment must be sent immediately. like i said, if it wasnt for ebay, we would have never met the people we needed to know.
email me. "

EH?! Isn't this what promos are for? And promos are free, that's why they're called "promos"!
Sorry, but it still stinks. At least the guy's got a conscience, I guess...
